Update

It’s Been Some Time

Well, it’s been some time since I’ve updated my website. A lot has happened. I thought having a baby wouldn’t impact my ability to keep on writing-and that shows what I know. Since I last updated, I got a new job, moved from Savannah to Riverdale, NY, and my baby is now 16 months.

I’m currently taking a break from the pulpit, doing meaningful work in the non-profit world for the Florence Melton School of Adult Jewish Education. It’s good work, and it lets me experience synagogue life from the other side of the bima. That doesn’t mean I’m done writing divrei Torah, however. Keep an eye on this space. I’ll continue to write, publish, and share divrei torah on my website. It just won’t be directed at any particular congregation.

I’m looking forward to new adventures, new people to meet, and new Torah to learn. I hope you’ll come along on this journey with me!
